About Me
I've been creating art for a long time because I've always enjoyed it tremendously. You know how some people can work on cars constantly, or run miles and miles without stopping? I can easily sit down and let my imagination go for hours at a time.
I also love playing video games, and can stay up until four in the morning beating a level with the best of them. For some reason, it didn't occur to me to major in Game Design as soon as I got into college. I took a brief foray into Visual Effects but decided that gaming offered much more room for creativity.
I really enjoy content and system design as well as writing, level design and modeling/texturing. I'm good at brainstorming and creative thinking while keeping technical requirements in mind. I always push for balanced and graceful solutions in my work instead of just sticking on 'band-aids' to fix problems. I love making and playing games that are 'easy to learn, hard to master' because discovering a unique kick-ass strategy and then razing my opponent gives me warm fuzzies.

My favorite games: Bioshock, Oblivion, Morrowind, The Longest Journey & Dreamfall, Kingdom Hearts, Desktop Tower Defense, Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, Sims series, Heroes of Might & Magic 3, Wizardry 8, Drakan: Order of the Flame, Nilgiri (a MUD), pool, Texas Hold'em poker
I mostly play PC games but I'm finally getting the hang of the joysticks on console controllers.
